Playing with the weight and density of volume, the organic nature of LeFort’s work is balanced by the precision of his approach. He applies a lamination technique used in boatbuilding to mahogany, oak poplar, fir, and teak to create large-scale installation, furniture, lighting and wall-mounted sculpture.
